As always, it’s on a first come, first seat basis and I do cap the classes at 8 people. RSVP as soon as possible to hold your seat at the table.

Classes last about 90 minutes – bring your appetite, questions, and a sense of humor!

Cooking Class Schedule (Sept.-Dec. 2017)

IMG_8848Now that school is back in session, so too is cooking class! It’s been a busy summer and the best part has been creating so many new recipes! I hope you’re hungry for some new recipes and cooking tips and gadgets. Remember, come hungry to class and leave inspired to cook!

Here are the dates for classes for the remainder of the year:

September:  Thursday the 14th at 12 pm and again at 7 pm

October: Thursday the 12th at 12 pm and 7 pm

November: Thursday the 9th at 12 pm and 7 pm

December:  Thursday the 14th at 12 pm and 7 pm

2017 Cooking Classes – February-April

Happy New Year! I hope the holidays were meaningful and memorable for you. It sure was a whirlwind of activity and here we are in January. I apologize for not scheduling a January cooking class, but January brings 3 birthdays, so finding time for a cooking class is nearly impossible! So, onto February and a class just in time for Valentine’s Day. Here are the dates for February, March, and April classes. Mark you calendars!

Cooking Class – Fall 2016


I’m baaaaack!

I apologize for not holding any cooking classes during the summer months, and thank ¬†you to everyone who inquired about when the next class will be held. Now that school is back in session and the kids are all settled, it’s time to get back into the kitchen and COOK!

The class days have shifted to Wednesday nights at 7 pm followed by Thursday’s at 12 pm. I hope that will help accommodate some of you…Here’s the schedule of classes for the remainder of the year:

SEPTEMBER 14th (7 pm) & 15th (12 pm)

OCTOBER 19th (7 pm) & 20th (12 pm)

NOVEMBER 16th (7 pm) & 17th (12 pm)

DECEMBER 14th (7 pm) & 15th (12 pm)

I will send out email reminders about class about 2 weeks, and then again 1 week before the class date. Please make sure to reserve your spot early as seats fill up fast and there is an 8 person max capacity.

If you have any special requests about what you’d like to learn, please do not hesitate to to tell me. I am always open to ideas.

Who’s Hungry?

If you’re looking to spice up your cooking, mix up those same old recipes, and try out some ideas that are both¬†nutritious¬†AND¬† delicious,¬†then you’ve got to come to cooking class!

Each month there are two classes to choose from (both with the same menu) – a Thursday night and a Friday lunch-time class. Bring your nutrition and cooking questions, appetite, and sense of humor, as there’s always something wickedly funny happening!

Upcoming Class dates:

March 17th (7 pm) & 18th (11:30 am)

April 14th (7 pm) & 15th (11:30 am)

May 12th (7 pm) & 13th (11:30 am)

Class size limit: 8 people, so rsvp as soon as possible!

I’m happy to take suggestions on what you’d like to see on the menu, so please let me know what you’re hungry for.

Wow! It has been a crazy and busy summer. Now that school is back in session, it’s time to get back into the kitchen and cook! For the remainder of the year, I will be offering¬†TWO cooking classes a month – one during the day and one during the evening. They will be the same menu, so you only have to come once to get the great content and food. I’m hoping this will help you find a day and time that fits with your schedule. Menus are TBD.

Spring Cooking Classes

Spring has sprung, but then again, we didn’t have much of a winter here in Southern California.

Time to break out the lighter recipes for Spring (because bathing suit season is right around the corner).

Here’s the proposed calendar for Spring Cooking Classes:

April 16th

May 14th

June 11th

I haven’t come up with themes yet, as I wanted to get the schedule up for those of you who like to plan ahead ūüėČ

All classes start at 7 pm and run until 8:30-9:00 pm (depending on how much we have to talk about)

Cost: $25

rsvp by the day before – first come first served. I will be capping the classes at 9 people.

2015 Cooking Classes (January, February, March)


Happy new year! I can’t believe how fast 2014 flew by! Well, hello 2015 and everything that it brings. Up first, let’s talk food. Cooking class will resume on January 15th and I’ve heard from quite a few of you that you want to kick off the new year with some clean eating recipes. You got it! Let’s get clean, without the deprivation and starvation that comes with crazy cleanses and the like. February’s class will be right before Valentine’s Day, so we will cook up a romantic menu for two (or the whole family). In March, we will look to the coming spring and incorporate some of the early spring veggies into a medley of recipes.

January 15th – Clean eating for a Happy New Year

February 12th – Valentine’s Day romantic (and ¬†easy) dinner

March 12th – Spring veggies

Class starts at 7pm and ends approximately at 8:30pm

Cooking Class Schedule (Sept. – Dec. 2014)

It’s crazy to think that summer is two-thirds over and most of the kids have headed back to school. With the kids out of the house, that means more time to get into the kitchen and try out some recipes from past cooking classes and anything else you find on-line that sounds delicious. Here’s the schedule of classes for the remainder of the year – mark you calendars now!


September 18th – Recipe Rehab! This idea came from a friend and I thought it was brilliant! When you rsvp for this class, submit a recipe that you would like to see me send to “rehab” to make it more delicious and nutritious. I will choose 3-4 recipes to demo at class from the requests. The sooner you send in your rsvp¬†and recipe, the more likely it will be rehabbed.

October 16th – Birthday Celebration! It’s my birthday and I’m cooking up my favorite recipes! Something light, something fresh, something decadent, and something naughty! And completely delicious!

November 20th – Thanksgiving sides and desserts – not the same old recipes!


December 18th – Throw a festive holiday party with Tapas and ‘Tinis (martinis) – Casual yet elegant

Summer Cooking Classes 2014

Is is seriously already time for summer? The kids are finishing up with school and the temperature is heating up outside. Yep, that must mean it’s time for summer break! But who really gets the break? Not the parents! School might be out for three months, but the one thing that doesn’t change is our need to EAT! In summer, we naturally want to LIGHTEN UP the food we eat, but sometimes it’s hard to think outside the box. Well, come to a cooking class to learn some new recipes and get inspired to cook! Here’s the schedule for the summer:

Thursday, July 17th – Salad days and nights! New combinations that make salad-eating an exciting experience!
